Green Zero Labs HD9
What is it? HD9 is a fully federal legal and Texas DSHS compliant hemp derived cannabinoid oil containing D9 THC, CBD, and CBC diluted with organic coconut MCT oil. Just naturally produced and purified cannabinoids CO2 extracted from organic hemp.
How is this legal? HD9 contains hemp derived THC at a 0.25% concentration (12.5mg per 5g by wt). This is below the allowable 0.3% limit set by the 2018 Federal Farm Bill and HB1325 Texas DSHS regulations. Rather than adding THC, we remove excess CBD to lower its content to follow the THC and CBC concentrations naturally present in our USDA certified organic hemp. This product is legal in Texas and 2018 Federal Farm Bill compliant states.
Concentration vs Dose The legal limit is based on concentration, not dose. Dose is determined by (mass)*(concentration)=(dose). The legal limit only defines the concentration, so we have simply increased the mass to allow for a usable dose. Hemp derived D9 THC is fully legal in any dose as long as the 0.3% limit is adhered to. The laws simply decide how much carrier oil we must add. HD9 dosage at these diluted levels are extremely hard to control with 3 cannabinoids, so we have focused intensely on the accurate dosage of D9 THC. This may cause some variation in the CBD and CBC levels in comparison (+/- 5mg per serving), but the 0.25% (12.5mg/5mL) label dosage will always be the minimum. We will never short change or under dose represented levels.
