Delayed Onset of Effects: Edibles don’t disperse their impact immediately after consumption; rather, they take anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours to start working their magic, which again depends on factors like metabolism, stomach contents, and an individual’s tolerance level.

Potential Overconsumption: What happens if something does not seem to work? We try again, right? The same can happen to edible consumption if we think we have taken in an inadequate amount. This can lead to overconsumption and uncomfortable experiences, such as anxiety or paranoia.

Difficulty in Dosage Regulation: Initially, users can be confused with precise dosage as nobody knows their tolerance level, and consuming too much THC can cause unwanted side effects.

For routine smokers, consumption of cannabis becomes very convenient and easy as they can easily replace it with smoke. But if you are allergic to smoke, edibles are your friends; you can carry them in your pocket and consume them whenever you like, partaking in candies, gummies, etc.
